Should restaurants ban young kids from dining areas?
This week, a restaurant in Pennsylvania made international news because it's instituting a no children under 6 policy, and it's not the first restaurant to do so.
We convened a Q debate on whether the ban is fair, and where the line should be drawn when it comes to ensuring a pleasant environment for customers.
Emma Waverman is a Toronto-based parenting & lifestyle writer and the author of the MSN parenting blog "Embrace the Chaos." She thinks the ban is extreme.
Simon Majumdar is a food writer, a judge on "The Next Iron Chef" and a best-selling author of foodie travelogues, including "Eat My Globe." He rises to the defence.
Take a listen to the debate below, and let us know what you think on the blog.
