Who should decide who gets circumcised?

In November, San Francisco will vote on whether to ban the practice of circumcision, prompted by the claims of some who say it's a cruel act, which removes the voice of the child under the knife. It's a complex situation, which involves health, religion and individual rights.

Today we convened a Q Debate over whether circumcision should be banned, and who should ultimately have say over an infant's body. Jian talked to Lloyd Schofield, a member of the Bay Area Intactivists group, and a proponent of the ban, and Marc Stern, who's associated with the American Jewish Committee, part of a coalition of Jewish and Muslim groups planning to fight the proposed ban. Listen to the debate below, and let us know where you stand.
