Should we stop forcing down cultural vegetables?

leafy-vegetables.jpgIn a recent New York Times Magazine, cultural critic Dan Kois admitted: "As I get older, I find I'm suffering from a kind of culture fatigue and have less interest in eating my cultural vegetables, no matter how good they may be for me." And by eschewing healthy but (to some) hard-to-choke-down cultural offerings -- he sparked an onslaught of reactions. Jian talked to Dan Kois about his new (somewhat shame-tinged) cultural diet on today's show, and now it's over to you... Should we be pushing ourselves to consume culture we don't like but know are good for us?
