Shania Twain on Q

shania.jpgGrammy and Juno Award-winning country pop artist Shania Twain is undoubtedly a Canadian icon and international star. She's also one of the first country artists to achieve unprecedented crossover success, particularly with her third album, 1997's Come on Over. It became the bestselling album ever by a female artist in any genre and generated a slew of number one hits, such as "That Don't Impress Me Much", "From This Moment On", "You're Still the One", and "Man, I Feel Like a Woman".

But behind the fairy tale success, Shania Twain's personal struggles resemble a classic country music song, filled with poverty, tragedy and betrayal. Her latest trauma left her literally unable to sing.

Shania Twain chronicles her struggles in her new autobiography - From This Moment On - and in her new docu-series on the Oprah Winfrey Network called Why Not? With Shania Twain. Jian spoke to Shania about how addressing her past is helping her find her voice.
