Few Canadian songwriters have woven so many songs, so deeply into the Canadian psyche as Robbie Robertson. He was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame last Saturday for his entire body of work, which extends from his role as the guitarist and primary songwriter for The Band in the 60s and 70s, to his considerable success as a solo artist.

What would the Canadian songbook be without songs like: "Up on Cripple Creek," "The Weight," "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down," "Broken Arrow" and "Somewhere Down the Crazy River"?

Here's Jian's UNCUT interview, in which Robbie talks about his most autobiographical and revealing album ever, How to become Clairvoyant.
