Today we spoke to Calgary-based musician Dan Bennett a.k.a. Transit about how formulaic Top 40 pop hits are (and how easy they are to replicate). To prove his point, he and his musical collaborator Dan Wallace decided to create their own 'unoriginal' tune... in the vein of Katy Perry and Enrique Iglesias. And they gave themselves a time limit of just 8 hours. The result is a new YouTube parody called "Lights, Camera, Action."
