Taubes -- an award-winning science journalist -- says that much of the conventional wisdom, from doctors and weight-loss shows alike, is wrong. But many doctors and dietitians strenuously disagree with Taubes, saying that there is no one-size-fits-all weight solution and that to suggest it's that simple, is just plain wrong.
