Should anonymous commenting on news sites be allowed?
Are they valuable forums for free speech, or snake-pits of abuse and attack?
Some news sites - including the Washington Post and the UK's Independent - are rethinking their policies on allowing anonymous comments.
Others, like The Buffalo News, are banning them outright.
We convened a Q debate with Buffalo News editor Margaret Sullivan and blogger Mathew Ingram to explore the topic.
