Today on Q we talked about this year's Cannes film festival. Macleans film critic Brian D. Johnson noted that there are no films directed by women among the 19 films in official competition. We also heard a clip from Rachel Millward, director of the Bird's Eye View Film Festival, an annual London-based showcase of films by women. She said that film is a powerful medium and without women's perspectives, we're missing half the picture of human experience. What do you think?
