The New Yorker's Michael Specter on why he thinks it's shameful that ABC appointed anti-vaccine advocate Jenny McCarthy to be new co-host of The View. Actor Michael Cera has made a very successful career out of playing the loveable, awkward teen geek. Yet, his latest film, Crystal Fairy, moves away from that image. Journalist Jon Mooallem on the absurd lengths some people go to to preserve the wildness of wild animals, and whether wildness is even something that can even be preserved in the 21st century.
