Read on, after the jump...

gordonpinsent.jpegFrom Grand Falls-Windsor, Nfld. to the screens and stages, small and large, storied Canadian actor Gordon Pinsent has made an indelible mark as a performer. He's starred in shows like A Gift to Last and Due South, and his film highlights include The Rowdyman and The Shipping News. When he stopped by studio Q in February 2008, he chatted with Jian about his role in Sarah Polley's Away From Her, and his legacy as an actor. Hear their conversation.

sherylcrow.jpgAmerican singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow has sold more than 30 million records, won nine Grammy Awards, and used her celebrity to promote political activism throughout her career. When Jian sat down with her in March 2008, Crow had just released her sixth studio album, Detours, a collection of roots rock numbers that includes social commentary on environmentalism and Hurricane Katrina. Take a listen.
