The Weekend Arts Magazine airs Saturday and Sunday mornings in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is the program’s mandate to cover the artistic, cultural and historical activities of the province – theatre, film, music, visual arts, literature, new media, museums, galleries and more. The Weekend Arts Magazine introduces the creators to the public by talking about who the artists are, why they do what they do, how they do it and by examining what roots them in Newfoundland and Labrador. In the process, the program illustrates why these artists are so to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
