Each Gofrette episode follows a day in the life of a delightfully eccentric cat, Gofrette and his friends in the colourful world of Zanimo. Serendipity, enthusiasm, and completely unexpected twists and turns are story hallmarks in this whimsical series targetted at 4 to 8 year olds. The TV series is based on the four Gofrette books, written and illustrated by Doris Brasset and Fabienne Michot and published by Quebec-Amerique.
