Born in Vancouver, upon graduating from high school, von Pfetten

moved to Vienna, then to Munich, where she studied art history and

interned at Sotheby's. Her parents are originally from Munich and her

father is a German Baron who grew up in a castle. She is best known

for Battlestar Galactica and the feature Percy Jackson & the Olympians:

The Lightning Thief.
