Rochelle Adonis

Rochelle Adonis is featured in the following program(s):

Born in French'speaking Canada, Rochelle Adonis moved to Sydney, Australia when she was 10'year'old. After training as a pastry chef, she launched her career in London in the mid 1990s, where she worked in an exclusive wedding cake boutique making cakes for both the British and Saudi royal families. She then accepted an invitation to work in the pastry kitchen of the world-famous Hotel Sacher in Vienna. She returned to Sydney in 1988 and worked at some of the city's finest establishments. In 2001 Adonis moved to Perth to start a family, and starting to build her own business producing wedding cakes and conducting cooking classes. In 2008, she decided to open her first studio, where she continued to create exquisite celebration cakes and handmade confections.

In 2013, she re-located her business to a 100-year-old house that boasts a large dining room, retail gallery, private dining room, a dedicated demonstration kitchen for cooking classes, a wedding consultation space and an alfresco area. Her unique take on 'High Tea' has now become synonymous with her name in Perth, together with the cakes and confections she supplies to over 50 of WA's premier restaurants, cafes and fine retail food outlets. As a well-respected food industry identity, Adonis has attracted the attention of local and national food media with editorial pieces in Australian Gourmet Traveler, Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Australian House and Garden, Qantas in-flight Magazine, and more. The Rochelle Adonis brand is a reflection of her Quebecois heritage and is elegant, contemporary and personal, just like her.
