Robert Doane

Robert  Doane

First came to the CBC in 2006. He started as the aboriginal intern, before transitioning into a researcher, then Associate Producer, Reporter, then co-host of the morning program Daybreak. After a couple of years, hauling in stories from the coast, Robert moved back to Prince George. He is now the producer and host. Robert's been recognized as a Jack Webster Award finalist, he's won two national RTNDA awards, and three BC RTNDA awards.

Robert loves the north, and is passionate about northern issues.

Before getting into the radio biz, Robert studied journalism in Calgary at the University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. He is currently enrolled to get his MBA with Royal Roads University. He now lives in Prince George with his wife and three beautiful daughters.
