Jo-Ann Roberts

Jo-Ann Roberts is the host of All Points West, CBC Radio One's provincial afternoon show serving British Columbia, excluding the Lower Mainland. Jo-Ann, a Maritimer, is a seasoned, award-winning broadcast journalist. Prior to moving to BC she spent a decade hosting CBC Radio's daily morning show based in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Jo-Ann was the first CBC journalist to win the Asia Pacific Scholarship to work in Tokyo, and was a national finalist for the Canadian Association of Journalism Conflict Resolution Award for her work on the Burnt Church First Nation's fishing dispute. Her other accomplishments include hosting the 2010 Olympic Updates for CBC Radio, producing and hosting a music program on CBC Radio Two and anchoring several election specials for CBC Radio and TV. She has worked in Winnipeg, Fredericton, Charlottetown and Halifax and has experience in writing, editing and marketing in the private sector.

Jo-Ann is married to Ken Kelly, who was born and raised in BC. They have 4 children.
