Millen, a former NHL goaltender, has worked as an analyst with CBC'S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA for more than 11 years, and has also covered men's hockey for CBC for two Olympic Winter Games - Torino in 2006 and Salt Lake City in 2002.
Millen began his career as a broadcaster when he covered the Ottawa Senators during their inaugural season in 1992 for Molstar; he also served as the lead studio analyst for Sportsnet and worked as on-ice reporter for ESPN International.
Millen brings informative and unique insights to every broadcast. Appearing in more than 600 regular season games throughout his 14-year NHL career, Millen was 215-284-89 with a Goals Against Average of 3.87 and 17 shutouts. In the playoffs, he was 27-29 with a GAA of 3.42. He donned the jerseys of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, St. Louis Blues, Quebec Nordiques, Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings and represented Canada at the World Championships in Finland in 1982.
The co-founder of the Peterborough Professional Hockey Alumni Association, Millen has helped raise more than half a million dollars for children in the Peterborough area along with other former professional hockey players. Millen was born in Toronto and resides in Peterborough, Ont., with his wife and four children.
