Amanda Putz

Amanda Putz is featured in the following program(s):

Amanda Putz is a proud Saskatchewanian who relocated to Ontario after graduating from University of Regina's Journalism School. After spending several years in television at CBC News Network in Toronto, she moved to Ottawa in 2004 to host Bandwidth, heard on CBC Radio One. That same year, she helped conceive the musical match-making show Fuse, which ran nationally on CBC Radio One and CBC Radio 2 from 2005 to 2008. During a brief sojourn in Hong Kong, Amanda also worked as a host for Radio-Television Hong Kong’s English radio station.

Amanda is the permanent host and producer of Bandwidth, and is the music columnist on Ottawa Morning Thursdays, and on In Town & Out Saturdays. All three programs are heard on CBC Radio One (91.5 FM in Ottawa). Amanda has also guest-hosted on Q, Definitely Not the Opera, Sounds Like Canada, and CBC Radio 3.

When she is not immersed in music, hosting and production at CBC, Amanda enjoys pottery and fighting the good fight against weeds and hungry critters in her garden.
