Amanda Lang is the senior business correspondent for CBC News, contributing regularly to its news program The National. She also anchors The Lang and O'Leary Exchange on CBC Television and CBC News Network, appearing with "dragon" Kevin O'Leary.

Before joining CBC, Lang hosted Business News Network's SqueezePlay. She is a veteran business journalist who got her start at The Globe and Mail before moving to the Financial Post, first as a technology reporter and later as the paper's New York correspondent.

Lang began her television career in 1999, at the newly launched Report on Business Television (now known as Business News Network), and in the past 10 years has also worked at CNN, reporting from the New York Stock Exchange.

Lang is a frequent guest speaker on business and economics. Married, with two children, she lives in Toronto.
