Evacuations nearly completed in Kashechewan

Around 1,500 people have been flown out of the remote First Nation community of Kashechewan.

Hundreds of people from Kashechewan First Nation have been evacuated since the weekend after a state of emergency was declared due to rising waters on the nearby Albany River. (Fort Albany Flood Watch/Facebook)
