Animal rights groups sue province over spring bear hunt
A group of animals rights organizations based in Toronto launched legal action today against the province over the return of the spring bear hunt.
Animal Alliance and Zoo Check Canada argue that when the province introduced the limited hunt, the governmetn broke it's own conservation laws.
They are asking for a judicial review and will be in front of group of Ontario Justices on April 29 in hopes of stopping the hunt.
