Randy DroverRandy Drover is a fourth year student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, who studies English and History and is also working towards diplomas in creative and professional writing. His work appears in Paragon, and most recently in The Current’s column ‘Word Up!’ Originally from Upper Island Cove, his spare time is devoted to creating lives that are far more interesting than his own.

Lynette AdamsLynette Adams has been studying creative writing since 2006 but has been “making stuff up” for a long long time. Her work has been published in Paragon Journal and in Telling Truth, both publications by students of Memorial University. This past December, she quit her day job to return to full time English studies at MUN.

Amy EvansAmy Evans decided to become a writer one day when she came home from school and her mom was folding laundry into bright piles on their green chesterfield. She writes primarily about food, colour and very small things. In 2006, Amy created the chapbook Colourable. She has been published in Arc and Zeugma, and has won the Gregory J Power Poetry Award. When not writing, Amy can be generally be found painting, baking or teaching.

Marie Elyse St. GeorgeStephen Rowe is a teacher and poet from Heart’s Content, Trinity Bay. His poetry has appeared in publications across Canada, as well as in the United States and The United Kingdom. His first book of poems will be released by Nightwood Editions in Fall 2009.

Angela OttoAngela Otto was born in St. John's. She's a former Sister of Mercy Who has taught in Newfoundland and labrador, the US and the UK. Angela has published two poetry volumes, "Custody of the Eyes" and "No particular Attachment." She's travelled throughout Europe, teaching, now retired and writing poetry. She has three children and new grandson in Virginia. She runs a Family Care Facility for homeless residents in St. John's.
