New rules for recreational drone use


Jeremy Laliberté, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Carleton University, says privacy issues don't fall under the discretion of Transport Canada, but rather inidividual operators because they have the ability to erode a person's privacy since drones can be sent hundreds of metres away without knowing who owns the device or where it's coming from. He spoke with CBC News Network's Michael Serapio from Ottawa.
