Our Toronto: D-Day Vets


More than 18,000 Canadians were among the casualties in the weeks after the Normandy invasion and 5,000 never returned home. There were Torontonians among the veterans who did service. And they were stationed with the Queen's Own Rifles. Recently we sat down with a few of them. Here are their memories, that they hope no one will ever forget.
