A group of workers who lost their jobs at a special care home after complaining to authorities over the mistreatment of residents has a message for the minister of social development. Thanks for nothing. The five women claim they were laid off after blowing the whistle on the owner of Seaview Special Care home in Saint John. Minister Madeleine Dube wouldn't comment on the specifics of the case, but she says there are sufficient protections for whistle-blowers in the province.
