It's the plane with the priceless tale. Nearly thirty years after it came down, the Gimli Glider is going up -- for auction. The Boeing 767 passenger jet got its nickname after it ran out of fuel, en route from Montreal to Edmonton. Against all odds, Captain Robert Pearson and his first officer, Maurice Quintal, managed to land the plane without engine power.
