Companion dog dearly missed

Daybreak Kamloops

Louise Walden and her ten-year-old golden retriever Tera used to walk the same route every day. Up to Hugh Allen Drive about a half- block west of Highway 5A . It's relatively well-lit. There's a grassy boulevard where the dog could wander and sniff. Louise was strategic about where she crossed the street. She walks with a cane so timing is paramount. On Thursday November 22nd at around 4:30 in the afternoon the unthinkable happened. Louise crossed the street, as she did every day with her dog on a leash. A vehicle came out of no-where. Louise Walden takes us back to the fateful afternoon.
