Making art through Kamloops history

Daybreak Kamloops

Two classes of Grade 11 and 12 arts students at SKSS were given an assignment. They were encouraged to reflect on Kamloops-it's geography and landmarks. And to think about how these features define us. When handed a paint brush and some acrylics-the teens let their creativity run wild. The results are on display in the lobby of the Sagebrush Theatre through December. I dropped in to take a look and met up with student Helena Markin.
