Recently, Ted Sarandos, the Chief Content Officer of Netflix criticized Canada for having "almost third world access to the internet" and saying "it's almost a human rights violation what they charge for internet access in Canada". Andrew Clement is a Faculty of Information professor at the University of Toronto, and he helps us deconstruct the criticisms to see if they have any merit.
