Radio-Canada correspondent Sylvian Desjardins reports from Germany, where its reputation as the economic engine of Europe continues, as it oversees and underwrites bailouts from Ireland to Greece, with Portugal, Spain and Italy in the rear-view mirror. Germany's stability is also attracting the less fortunate from other European countries, but both sides will have to overcome corrosive mutual resentments.
