"A challenge to China"


China's dealing with a series of scandals the likes of which it hasn't seen in years. There's the fall of Bo Xilai, a former Communist party boss, and then the escape of a blind dissident who took refuge in the US Embassy in Beijing. Both cases threaten to change the face of the ruling Politburo and embarrass the party, according to former CBC correspondent and 9-year-resident of Beijing, Patrick Brown.
