In part two of this episode. About every ten minutes in this country, someone is hit by a stroke.Strokes are the third leading cause of death in Canada.And for the 90 percent of people who survive, their lives are never the same. About 40 percent of survivors are left with moderate to severe impairments. They may have trouble with language....or moving an arm or leg.10 percent of peopl are so severely disabled they require long-term care. We meet a couple dealing with the long term consequences:
