John Rutherford performs live in studio and talks about the King Eddy

The Homestretch

After years of renovation the King Eddy is officially reopening today. The former hotel and bar has long been known as Calgary's Home to the Blues. It closed in 2004 but the National Music Centre took it over and refurbished it as a live music venue. Joining host Doug Dirks in studio to talk about the blues and the King Eddy was longtime blues-man John Rutherford.
