Well, you may be surprised by the abundance of plants in Calgary's parks that can help you survive. In the grass and bushes, there are plants to help avoid panic, build shelters, stop nosebleeds and even make glue. Cheyenne Caza is a practical herbalist and owns Wisewood Apothecary in Calgary She takes people through parks all year round to show them useful plants. The CBC's Rachel Levy McLaughlin went along on a recent walk.
