Shift's Political Panel: Troubles with whales, party members and school closures

The federal government temporarily closed a 3,000-square-kilometre area to fishing in an effort to protect the endangered right whale. The decision angered some crab and lobster fishermen. Also this week - the Liberals' hold on a key Moncton riding is in doubt after eight members quit over the premier's handling of the Chris Collins case. The Gallant government was also rapped on the knuckles this week, for pre-empting a New Brunswick school board's decision-making process for closing a small rural school.
