Quebec is not prepared to handle a Humboldt tragedy: lack of helicopter transportation can prove deadly

In the wake of the tragedy in Humbolt, Sask., where 15 members of a junior hockey team were killed in a tragic bus crash, many are asking: what if something like that happened here? At least one trauma doctor is raising the alarm over Quebec's lack of transportation from remote areas to major hospital centres. Dr. David Mulder is the director of the cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the MUHC, and the chief medical practitioner for the Montreal Canadiens.
