Quebec mosque shooter pleads guilty to murder charges

The man accused of killing worshippers at a Quebec mosque has pleaded guilty to six charges of first-degree murder and six of attempted murder. Alexandre Bissonnette originally pleaded not guilty on Monday but apparently changed his mind after the judge asked for a psychiatric assessment. Bissonnette read out a statement in court in which he said he made the decision to spare the victims further trauma
