Spring 2018 session of the Alberta Legislature begins

The Homestretch

The Alberta Legislature is back in session. Lieutenant Governor Lois Mitchell read the speech from the throne this afternoon, outlining the government's agenda. The pipeline dispute is front and centre, including a potential threat from Premier Rachel Notley to cut off oil exports to B.C. This also the first day in the Opposition Leader's chair for UCP leader Jason Kenney. For a look on all this, host Doug Dirks reached Duane Bratt, political scientist at Mount Royal University.
