The life of Calgary Stampeder Ezzrett 'Sugarfoot' Anderson detailed in a new book, by Daryl Slade

The Homestretch

He helped break the race barrier in pro sports, he was named both an offensive and defensive football All Star and along the way he appeared in no less than 32 movies. We're talking about the legend of Calgary Stampeder Ezzrett 'Sugarfoot' Anderson. He died last year at the age of 97, but his extraordinary life is now the subject of a new book called simply Sugarfoot. Calgary author and Stamps historian Daryl Slade is behind the book and he joined host Rob Brown in studio.
