It was a record snow fall for February third, surpassing a total set back in 1948. And it wreaked havoc throughout the city. Between 6 am and 5:45 pm on Saturday alone, 284 crashes were reported to police. Deerfoot Trail was shut down for most of Saturday afternoon because of multiple crashes.
