Lougheed House goes Art Deco

The Homestretch

It was an era that brought us the Empire State Building, jazz and new technology. But the 1920s and 30s also introduced a new design esthetic called Art Deco. Calgary's Lougheed House has created a new exhibit that focuses on domestic objects from the Art Deco era. More than 40 objects come from private collections in the Calgary area. The Homestretch's Ellis Choe got a sneak peak with Lougheed House curator Caroline Loewen.
