There are fewer secrets in the Canadian government, largely thanks to sound leaking through walls and doors. Parliament Hill has been renovated since it was built in the 19th century in order to handle modern ventilation and wiring, but proper soundproofing wasn't done. That's led politicians to find some creative solutions in order to make sure their secrets stay secret
