A team of Calgary teens earned what's called the Judge's Award at the FIRST Robotics Competition in Edmonton over the weekend. The team is made up of refugees from Syria and Lebanon. Amina and Ahmed Alfalah are siblings on the team. Amina is in grade 11 and Ahmed is in grade 8. They arrived in Canada from Syria two years ago. Wally Rooke is a retired civil engineer who brought the team together. All three joined host Doug Dirks in studio.
