It's probably one of the coolest spaces to open a cafe in the city these days. Calgary's new Central Library made Architectural Digest's list of the 12 most anticipated buildings of 2018. The shiny multi million dollar building in the East Village was designed by a renowned Norwegian architechture firm. It includes a performance hall, an early learning centre and a space for teens to hang out. Gareth Lukes and Eric Hendry won the bid to set up the one and only eatery in the new place. Gareth is the third generation owner of Lukes Drug Mart. Eric is the former chef of Model Milk and now runs Bar Von Der Fels.
