Heavy flooding from a massive weekend rainfall has prompted evacuation anxiety in Newfoundland. The town of Deer Lake has been under an evacuation warning since Monday after the Humber River flooded its shores and threatened homes. River levels have dropped slightly, but with ice heading toward the town, officials are asking residents to be ready to evacuate at a moment’s notice
