Team of Calgary cavers discover Canada's deepest cave

The Homestretch

Calgarians Jeremy Bruns and Kathleen Graham aren't interested in climbing up mountains. Instead, they prefer to crawl deep down underneath them. The two climbers are part of a crew of seven explorers that discovered what is now confirmed as the deepest cave in Canada. It's called Bisaro Anima and it's located just north of Fernie, B.C. It currently measures 670 metres deep -- deeper than the CN Tower is tall. Jeremy is also a member of the Alberta Speleological Society and Kathleen is its president. They joined Doug Dirks in studio.
