Ottawa reviewing Edmonton attacker's entry into Canada

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the government is reviewing the circumstances surrounding how Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, accused of stabbing an Edmonton police constable on the weekend and running down four pedestrians, entered Canada. Sharif was ordered to be deported from the United States in 2011 by a U.S. immigration judge, a year before entering Canada through a regular port of entry and obtaining refugee status.
