Coming up soon Sea levels are rising faster than scientists previously predicted. In California, they are taking the threat to their coastlines very seriously and trying to come to terms the decisions that will have to be made. Will they allow the sea to claim some land? Will they be able to protect airports and other infrastructure with levees? Can they come up with designs for new buildings that can survive flooding?
