From the X Games to Sochi

It’s been just over a year since the Canadian X Games superstar Sarah Burke died following a training accident on the halfpipe. Universally called a freestyle skiing pioneer, Burke is largely credited for waging a successful lobby to get her sport included in the Sochi Games. Now, a year before the ski halfpipe discipline makes its Olympic debut, Burke’s teammates are reflecting on new challenges, pushing boundaries, and honouring an old friend.
